Craig Aaronson was the executive producer and A&R (artists and repertoire) executive for Jimmy Eat World at Capitol Records. He was known for signing and developing major rock and alternative acts in the 1990s and early 2000s. He played a key role in developing Jimmy Eat World especially during their pivotal albums like Clarity. As an A&R at Warner Bros. Records, Aaronson was instrumental in shaping the alternative and emo rock scene, signing bands that became genre-defining including My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, The Used, and Taking Back Sunday.
He was married to Britt Aimee Taxin. He passed away in 2014 after a battle with brain cancer.
