How to Add to this Wiki

We are still working on building out templates and categories for this. Here are some suggestions for building each page:

Release Template

For each release add:

• Infobox

  • name (Name of release, can be imported from the page title
  • cover (Image of release cover)
  • alttext (Alt text for the image of release cover)
  • caption (Caption for the image of release cover if a specific edition
  • type (The type of release i.e. Studio Album, Demo Album, Extended Play, Compilation, Splits, Singles, Promotional Single, Live Album, Video Album)
  • written (When written using date format yyyy-mm-dd)
  • recorded (When recorded using date format yyyy-mm-dd)
  • released (When released using date format yyyy-mm-dd)
  • venue (For live albums only, where played)
  • studio (For non-live albums, where recorded)
  • length (The length of the main release in(hh:)mm:ss format, if multiple versions exist provide other details in the track listing section.)
  • tracks (The number of tracks, if multiple versions exist provide other details in the track listing section.)
  • label (The label released with, if multiple versions exist provide other details in the track listing section.)
  • producer (The release's producer(s))
  • director (The video release's producer(s))
  • formats (The formats, (e.g. Vinyl 10", CD, Digital Download) the release was available on.

Before any Headings, general information about the release can be provided including the name of the release, release date, formats available, and label.
