The video follows a school trip to a science museum which mainly focuses on a boy and girl who come to like each other by the end of the video. As the band plays, the two find themselves separated from their tour group and run around the museum, playing with the displays until they catch up with the rest of their classmates.

The video was filmed at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles, California. One reviewer noted of the video: "There’s the one that sorta resembles ''Night at the Museum'' <ref>{{Citation|url=http://somuchsilence.com/jimmy-eat-world-always-be-video/|title=Jimmy Eat World: Always Be (Video)|first=Kevin|date=2008-01-29|website=So Much Silence|publisher=So Much Silence|quote=arizona, general, video

If you come here regularly, then you already know I’m a fan of Jimmy Eat World, hometown pride aside. (I’ve already shared my feelings on the haters.)

Anyway, here’s the group’s new video for Always Be, the second single off the album Chase This Light. Looks like the Museum of Natural History, in which case I already prefer this video to the last time I saw the museum as a backdrop.

You can find the video for the first single, Big Casino, right here.|access-date=2022-05-25}}</ref>except as a meet-cute between Myspace kids" <ref>{{Citation|url=https://www.theringer.com/music/2019/11/5/20948766/jimmy-eat-world-interview-jim-adkins-zach-lind-surviving-new-album|last=Laven|first=Scott|title=How Jimmy Eat World Survived Emo Rock and Stopped Writing Themselves Off|date=2019-11-05|website=Theringer.com|publisher=The Ringer|access-date=2021-03-07}}</ref> The video was directed by The Malloys (Beck, Jurassic 5). <ref>{{Citation|url=https://www.punknews.org/article/27504/videos-jimmy-eat-world-always-be|title=Jimmy Eat World: “Always Be”|last=Paul|first=Aubin|date=2007|website=|publisher=Punknews.org|access-date=2022-05-07|quote=Jimmy Eat World: “Always Be”
